Snr Analyst: Payments Insights and Analytics

Purpose of the Position:

To support all Data-Science/Analytics requirements on behalf of Payments team and provide payment analytics to quantify incidents and identify area of improvement.

Key Performance Objectives

  • Develop Analytics & Insights Idea generation
  • Build and setup dashboards
  • Vendor volume & exception reports per country
  • Payment service monitoring
  • Proactive monitoring of reports
  • Vendor portal & data analysis
  • Performance SLAs & MTTR
  • Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports
  • Oversight and management of Data- Science/Analytics deliverables, i.e. design, build, test, go-live and support
  • Creation of a long-term payments roadmap aligned with the Data Science/Analytics roadmap (technical, financial, regulatory, operational etc.)
  • Analysis of business requirements, technical abilities and delivery of proposed solution design
  • Maintenance of technical documentation (data flow diagrams, technical specifications, etc) and test completion reports.
  • Identify and log risks and issues to minimize project/business impact

Qualifications Essential

  • Degree Statistics or Data Analytics or related degree
  • Certified Microsoft Professional would be advantageous
  • Experience
  • Minimum 5 – 10 years’ experience as Data Science/Analytics in a similar role
  • Methodologies as well as technical expertise in the fields of statistics, data analysis, data modelling and data enrichment
  • In depth understanding of Benchmarking, Predictive Analytics, Social Media Analytics, Web Analytics, Geolocation Analysis, Ad-Hoc Analysis, Trend Indicators, Profit Analysis, In-Memory Analysis, Statistic Analytics and Data Mining
  • Minimum 5 years SQL knowledge
  • 2-5 years Python would be highly advantageous
  • Dashboarding experience would be advantageous in PowerBI, Tableau or equivalent tools
  • Systems development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Data modelling and Analysis)
