This exciting opportunity exists in our Market Stores Division based in Johannesburg. We are looking for a Deli/Bakery Coordinator to take ownership of a number of stores and their performance on Deli, Hot Foods and Bakery.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in bakery Good understanding of Store operations High knowledge level of bakery processes and procedures Must be computer literate Drivers license Matric minimum qualification
Duties & Responsibilities
Understand key drivers, desired business outcomes, and Deli/Bakery standards Regular communication with Division, Store and In Store Deli/Bakery management Identify and implement contingency plans to close performance gaps Maintain a solid working knowledge of assigned business area, industry, and market; uses knowledge of industry practices, business trends, trade patterns , and the competitive environment to develop trading and production plans Develop and recommend business strategies that target Deli/Bakery specific growth Make specific recommendations for development on company initiatives Develop and implement action plans to enable the attainment of financial goals, leveraging knowledge of factors and trends that are likely to impact financial performance Monitor budgets, production planning and take action to align sales there of Train and develop Deli/Bakery management Assist stores with Weekly Stock-takes and compiles store reports Conduct regular quality checks and audits Ensure that display and quality standards are adhered to
