• Grade 12 • Forklift license • Must have 1 year experience as Forklift Operator • Must have 1 year experience in Warehouse environment • Experience on working with scanner • Willing to learn • Must be able to work under pressure and to work accurately • Willing to work long hours, weekends, public holidays • Time management skills • Excellent verbal communication skills • Self-motivated and show initiative • Punctuality and attendance reliability • Team Player
Duties & Responsibilities
• Collecting, transporting and delivering of raw- and packaging material on demand to the different manufacturing departments plants • Collecting, transporting and delivering of different Finished Goods to the appropriate locations for storing • Collecting, transporting and delivering the correct products on demand to dispatch for orders to be shipped • To ensure that all movements on all products are properly scanned according to procedure to ensure good stock control • Ensure that the cold chain is kept at all times • Operating a Forklift Machine in accordance with relevant safety procedures and maintaining the machine in good working condition. • Battery maintenance on forklift and complete the battery logbook • Forklift operator must ensure not on damage products and to remove product that might be damaged to the reworks department • Complete daily check sheet on forklift equipment • Loading and off-loading of trucks • Ensure that truck are loaded according the correct pattern • Plotting of store temp • Ensure that the warehouse is neatly packed and the pallets are stacked correctly • Ensure that the dispatch team is supplied with stock on a on-going basis • Providing Process and Pre-Pack department with the raw materials as required for their production schedules. • Taking fresh cheese to maturing rooms • Taking butter from factory to freezer rooms
