A well known FMCG company is looking for a Co-Packer Manager.

Job Description: Co-Packer Manager

First point of contact and business evaluation

  • Source and be able to evaluate reliable manufacturers and business integrity from first discussion and site inspection
  • Establish expectations clearly and managing the expectations of the new Co-Packer from the start
  • Negotiate terms of contract with Co-Packers
  • Liaise with necessary teams from technical, finance, quality, marketing, planning and logistics
  • Understand minimum requirements and capacity and capability of co-packer

Introduce the parties and perform training activities

  • Determine training needs of Co-Packers
  • Provide training according to the competency model
  • Evaluate & report on the effectiveness of training
  • Coordinate and manage Co-Packer first training workshop

Coordinate the centralised raw and packaging material purchasing for Co-Packers

  • Draw weekly reports on material and raw forecast and communicate to Co-Packers
  • Order and/or cancel raw material purchases
  • Analyse forecast and forecast deviation
  • Communicate and liaise with Supply Chain Planning when forecast errors are high
  • Communicate 12 week forecast deviations on material and raw orders

Integrate supply chain with suppliers and Co-Packers

  • Integrate information with Co-Packers and suppliers ensuring stock on hand (SOH), purchase orders (PO’s) and order information is available
  • Facilitate project management actions with supply chain integration
  • Manage data sources and setup of information sharing to the business
  • Ensure ERP LX setups for co-packers such as MRP140, creation of facilities and maintenance of this data

Coordinate the daily, weekly monthly functional/operational support for Co-Packers

  • Manage the relationships between of Co-Packers
  • Liaise with Supply Chain Planning and Co-Packer to ensure alignment of capacity vs. demand
  • Coordinate the resolution of daily or weekly supply issues
  • Manage the Co-Packers expectations
  • Conduct project management specifically with new launches
  • Facilitate the suppliers with Co-Packers and arrange the first initial deliveries
  • Negotiate, arrange and agree special payment terms with finances department where necessary


  • Business English: Fluent
  • MS Excel (Advanced)
  • Travel off-site / Overnight Stay
  • Working with Senior Management

Required Education Level: DEGREE
