This role is an important enabler to our consultant team as we enter a new phase of growth. Our consultant team are responsible for delivering the LifeCheq proposition to our clients, and for them to be effective, they need to be enabled with the right support. In this role, you’ll be playing a big part in making sure that things run smoothly so the team can get on with what they need to do. The consultant team will be your primary clients – you need to give them the best service, so they can in turn give the best service to LifeCheq’s clients.

Responsibilities

  • Run with the organising and set up of new office premises
  • Coordinate requirements with the Head of Client Experience, gather requirements from the team, organise viewings and manage correspondence with letting agents
  • Oversee and manage any alterations / adjustments required to ensure the space meets the teams requirements
  • Arrange internet access and phone lines
  • Organise and manage access control
  • Procure office supplies as required * Research and procure new team requirements as organised
  • Make sure the working environment for consultants teams in each region is set up to make the team as productive as possible
  • Support the marketing team with logistics relating to LifeCheq events where required
  • Organise team functions, team travel between cities and related logistics
  • Provide general support to the LifeCheq consultant team
  • Provide support to the consultant recruitment manager with interview logistics, organising candidate flights, vetting checks and other tasks as required
  • Help with onboarding of new joiners and ensure they are set up with all the hardware and software they need to work – configure G-suite access, slack, front, as well as internal tools
  • Manage the team Uber account
  • Manage data and airtime for consultants
  • Organise and procure new hardware and arrange repairs etc
  • Provide general technical assistance to the support team

You will be measured on the following key performance indicators:

  • Feedback from your key clients: the consultant and the marketing teams
  • Turnaround time to get a new consultant fully set up
  • Turnaround time to have issues resolved
  • Client feedback from LifeCheq events

Other requirements for this role:

  • At least a 3 year university degree
  • At least 2 years working experience
  • Very comfortable with technology and a quick learner
  • Experience in an operations support role is an advantage
  • Excellent planning and organising skills
  • Self-driven and ability to take initiative
  • Have a driver’s license and a means of transport
  • You’ll need to be able for 2 evenings a week to support the team with LifeCheq events running
  • You will also need to travel regularly between Cape Town, Johannesburg and other major cities (at least once a month) when events are held and also to provide support as required. You will also play a key role in setting up new offices and therefore be able to travel around the country as is required.

Salary: R12,500.00 to R15,000.00 /month
