Milpark is the higher education specialist for formal education in banking and is also gaining recognition in the investment arena. In the last 10 years, the School has touched the lives of more than 20 000 banking students. Milpark’s School of Investment and Banking has expanded and reviewed their offering so that they can now offer a range of qualifications from NQF level 5 through to NQF level 8 which provides options for school-leavers
as well as those already employed at different levels in the sector.
The School works closely with both the big and the smaller banks in South Africa, and is also expanding its corporate client base in the rest of Africa in response to the skills demands of these markets. The lecturers have theoretical knowledge, practical experience and ties to the industry which allow for superior student support and a sharing of experiences. Recently, the School has expanded into the area of investment and is entering
the industry by offering new qualifications and programs.

The general purpose of the lecturer role is to teach and assess students for specific modules that the lecturer is responsible for as the subject matter specialist.
The teaching happens mainly via distance education modes using electronic media and online live technologies, and only selectively via learnerships or short-courses with face-to-face class interaction
Preference will be given to applicants from designated groups, and appointments will be made in line with our EE requirements.
