Our well established Company has a vacancy for a Workshop Manager based in Cliffdale, Cato Ridge. Only Candidates available immediately will be considered. Salary on offer is R15 000 – R20 000 ctc

Job Duties and Responsibilities.

  1. Daily
  • Control
    human resources needed daily.
  • Audit
    stock levels of consumables, diesel and all other stock.
  • Send
    completed documents or job cards from previous day’s work for invoicing.
  • Communicate
    with manager and client on daily tasks and progress.
  • Address
    issue with solutions manager.
  • Order
    PPC/PPE and equipment where needed.
  • Arrange
    repairs and maintenance of equipment with relevant managers.
  • Communicate
    with clients regarding plans for services and repairs.
  • Meet
    with clients as and when required.
  • Writing
    of pay queries.
  • Monitor
    production targets.
  • Completing
    of timesheets and salary schedule for staff on site.
  • Writing
    reports for management.
  • Making
    sure all systems and procedures are being implemented and adhered to.
  • Making
    sure job cards are being filled out daily and are done correctly.
  • Quotations
    done for required jobs and sent to clients and when accepted an Expense
    Requisition (ER) or Purchase Order Number (PO) must be requested.
  • No
    work to commence without an ER or PO.
  • Make
    sure that the workshop and yard are clean and safe to work.
  • Asset
    register must be monitored and updated timeously.
  • Stock
    take of spares, equipment and consumables must be done monthly (last
    Friday of the month) and report to be sent to Management timeously.
    (Before the Wednesday of the following month).
  • Tool
    box talk weekly or when a special task is performed
  • Report
    to management on progress and any other issues.
  • Carry
    out any other reasonable instruction by management.
  • Cleanliness of ablutions
    and workshop area is maintained.

    5 years experience as a Workshop Manager
