Minimum of 5 years transport managing experience (not supervision but must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience before moving into a management role)
Manage fleet of 30 vehicles (Preventative Maintenance)
Vehicle’s must be checked on a daily basis Tyres; Breaks; Scratches; Dents; Maintenance; Refrigerator’s; Services and repairs etc.
Manage 56 employees (Drivers & Van Assistant)
Manage of Time & Attendance; Leave and overtime and preparing rosters
Technical skills (mechanical understanding, vehicle/fleet utilisation, dynamic routing)
Strong administrative skills coupled with computer literacy
Tracking Systems – All reps and fleet.
Issue PPE to all staff & manage PPE
Problem solving and analytical thinking
Nedfleet Management – Fuel Account & Consumption & Fuel Reports – All reps and fleet.
Manage all company fines & deductions for the Payroll.
Full liaison point between the company and Drivers.
Manage budgets and transport costs
Familiar with legislative requirements
