Duties & Responsibilities

As an office assistant at Redflank, you will be responsible for handling administrative duties, such as:

  • Welcoming visitors
  • Answering and directing calls
  • Liaising with clients and scheduling meetings
  • Preparing the boardroom for client meetings
  • Preparing, drafting and processing invoices
  • Making travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, car hire)
  • Managing the filing system: hardcopy and electronic
  • Performing general office errands
  • Providing administrative support for project teams
  • Assisting with arranging company events
  • Taking meeting minutes and distributing accordingly
  • Ordering stationery
  • Ensuring office upkeep and cleanliness
  • Ensuring OHS standards are mantained/ adhered to

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • 1-2 years experience in administration
  • Matric certificate
  • Relevant qualification essential (Office/ Business Administration, Bookkeeping, Secreterial from a recognised Further Education and Training Institution)
  • Must be a mature candidate (25 years or older)
  • Driver’s license and own car (non-negotiable)
  • Excellent people, communication and organisational skills
  • Fluent in English and an African language
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Familiar with accounting packages: Sage and SAP (A1 Module) beneficial

Package & Remuneration

R12 000 – R16 000 (depending on experience)
