Purpose of the Job

The incumbent will give support for the Short-Term Sales Team. Duties will include, but not limited to:
• Distributing all leads received to the internal sales consultants
• Creating workflows for each lead
• Assist with queries that brokers might have in terms of all the leads that they sent
• Assist the relationship managers with queries that they might have in terms of all the leads that they generate

Duties & Responsibilities

• Providing sales manager/team leader with the daily lead figures
• Providing the relationship managers with a weekly report in terms of all the leads they generated
• Provide a monthly combined report (for all lead channels)

Desired Experience & Qualification

Formal Qualifications
• Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
• FAIS Compliance: 60 Credits – would be an advantage
• RE Qualification – would be an advantage
• Commercial insurance related qualification would serve as an advantage

Experience and Knowledge
• Basic Underwriting knowledge/experience
• Good understanding of Sales processes and SLA’s
• Proven sales experience
• Previous experience in client services would serve as an advantage
• Relevant system knowledge (Short Term Insurance systems)

Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates
