Minimum 3-year experience in a Warehouse manager role
Experience in the FMCG industry (Food Manufacturing) – essential
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Expertise on warehouse equipment management
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Experience with warehouse management software systems preferable
Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills and people skills
Knowledge of Safety and Health requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel and Word)
Syspro experience – essential
Manage the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies.
Oversee and accountable for receiving, warehousing, distribution and warehouse maintenance operations.
Revise storage layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
Initiate, co-ordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and transport legislation requirements.
Manage stock control, issuing of raw materials to production, movement of stock.
Prepare, manage and execute monthly stock takes.
Plan work schedules and work priorities for stock in-takers / loaders.
Prepare reports according to business requirements.
Work closely with procurement and production as a team to ensure optimal stock warehousing, usage and accurate record keeping.
