My client, a well established and reputable concern within the agri industry is seeking to employ a Sales Coordinator / Sales Representative within they Sales and Marketing department. Job description:

The successful candidate will be working in the Sales department. Training will be provided in specializing in nuts. The candidate will be reporting directly to the Marketing Manager.

The candidate will be assisting in marketing with focus on servicing & acquisition of key clients. One of the key responsibilities will be to acquire new clients throughout South Africa.

The Candidates Main Focus will be to understand the local (& later international) market for sales of nuts. Although most transactions will be conducted via telephone, the candidate will be expected to visit existing as well as new clients to build long term relationships. Due to the nature of the industry, productions only take place once a year, however clients require the products 12 months in a year.

Qualifications & Requirements

Tertiary qualification in marketing, sales, business & food technology

Previous experience in sales

Computer literate with experience with Word & Excel

Knowledge & and experience with cost calculation, Stock control, database upkeep

Good administrative skills

Fluent in both English & Afrikaans

Willingness to travel
