- Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure that all laundry items are clean and maintained in good operating order.
Ensure that timelines are met for company-wide laundry distribution.
Supervises Laundry Team Members to ensure duties are performed consistent with
standard operating procedures.
Monitors laundering on regular basis to ensure all items are clean according to
Checks to ensure that all equipment is operating and if not, reports to maintenance
to repair or replace if required.
Inspect all items for damage, thinning, stains, wrinkles and discards.
Logging information for count, damage, thinning, stains, wrinkles and discarded
All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements
3-4 years managing a fast-paced laundry/housekeeping environment.
Prior experience working in the hospitality industry.
Must have Gr 12, formal hospitality Degree/Diploma would be an advantage
Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills.
