GENERAL MANAGER / WILD COAST – Our client has a vacancy for a General Manager to manage their highly reputable Hotel along the Wild Coast to maximize profitability, maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with all relevant Acts. This is a live-in position and a foreign language such as Dutch or German would be advantageous.
Formal qualification in Hotel/ Tourism Management advantageous
Min. 10 years Hotel experience
Min 5 years Hotel Management experience
Sound knowledge of Hospitality related systems – Apex/Knightsbridge
Experience and thorough knowledge of OHS Act
Experience with Hospitality industry standards and procedures
Key Performance Areas:
Finance and administration – Management Reporting, Management of Debtors/Creditors, Pricing, budgets, Food and Beverage costs and sales
Guest Services – Housekeeping, Event Management
Food and Beverage Management – Stock Management
Sales and Marketing – Social Media Marketing, Expo’s, Strategies, Networking, Monthly reporting
Staff Management – training, development, disciplinary procedures, time and attendance, salaries
Health & Safety compliance
