INTRODUCTION

A well established company based in Cape Town has a position available for
a Business Developer for aggressively exploring and growing
opportunities for new and existing business. The Business Developer will have
the opportunity to work across multiple industries in a dynamic environment at
a market related salary plus a commission incentive/company share.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • New
    business development
  • Find
    and manage new leads
  • Build
    relationships with clients
  • Contact
    and follow up with prospective clients
  • Prepare
    and present weekly sales reports
  • Assist
    in compiling presentations, pitch material, and proposals in connection
    with business development
  • Assist
    in the development of sales strategies
  • Constantly
    and proactively look for ways to improve efficiencies through performance,
    communications, procedures and systems
  • Assist
    in aggressively increasing sales revenue
  • Making
    recommendations for management on test business practice, service
    offerings, price etc.
  • Continuously
    work towards improving the client experience and service delivery

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum
    tertiary degree / post graduate degree
  • Minimum
    5 year working experience required
  • Excellent
    communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
  • High
    level of critical, analytical and logical thinking to identify
  • underlying facts, reasons and principles
  • Proficient
    in MS Office, must be highly computer literate
  • Team
    player but also able to work independently
  • Ability
    to work under pressure
  • Ability
    to meet deadlines
  • Accuracy
    and attention to detail is essential
  • Friendly
    and energetic
  • Passionate
    about sales & marketing
  • Creative
    and on-trend
  • Good
    time management skills
  • A
    desire and passion for learning new technologies and continuously

    classical/creative sales experience
