Job Advert Summary
Promote and deliver/implement professional , commercially viable and quality clinic services in compliance with Nursing Council regulations and Pick ‘n Pay company standards

Minimum Requirements
Primary health care experience essential
Relevant qualification
Financial and commercial acumen
In possession of at least a light motor vehicle (code 8) driver’s license.
Able and willing to work irregular hours and to move between stores.

Duties & Responsibilities
Define , implement , manage and maintain clinic services and stock
Provide patient care in co-operation with the Pharmacists
Clinic administration
Assist in telephone follow through of dispensed scripts
Assist on the sales floor when required , with regards to First Aid/ wound management
Promote wellness screening and Ascot Diet Clinic
Participate in wellness days off site when required / initiate and manage community services projects
Maintaining of house keeping standards in the clinic
Customer services – respond to customer needs in a prompt and professional manner, whilst respecting individual confidentiality
Attend courses to keep up to date on new trends and innovations
Compliance with regards to fridge temperature and stock control
Action any reasonable request pertaining to the business of the pharmacy , i.e. assist with packing shelves / recruiting of patients in store , etc.
Ensure Patient information is held securely , confidentially and accurately maintained on an electronic system
Maintaining housekeeping standards in the clinic
Compliance with regards to fridge temperatures and stock control
Compile professional stock and financial management reports
Manage medical waste , ensure a safe environment and safety precautions are taken.
Manage adverse events and emergencies within the Pick n Pay store and clinic
Counsel and advise patients on health information , weight management and refer patients to Pharmacist and other health professionals when appropriate
Plan and implement health days and other projects
Develop health professional networks
