Introduction

The successful candidate will be responsible for professional, effective and efficient service to ensure a positive image of the organisation. The suitable candidate will also be responsible for all tasks related to administration of auctions including: attending auctions, capturing auction rolls, printing of statements, bank payments, collection of receivables and management of cash auctions. General office administration and debtors’ management.

Specification

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 with
Proven knowledge re livestock will be advantageous
Proven knowledge re debtors and creditors will be advantageous
Excellent knowledge of livestock and auctioning procedures
Excellent computer literacy in MS office applications
Must be fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); must be fully conversant in Afrikaans and English
Valid driver’s license

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure accurate administrative processes
Managing debtors: ensuring that clients settle their accounts within agreed terms, reporting to the Regional Manager regarding debtors’ position on a weekly basis
Assist with creating and distributing of auction catalogues
Handling of auctions
General administrative duties
